AutoVocab operates primarily as an offline-first application. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information to external servers. All vocabulary data, learning progress, and settings are stored locally on your device.
Automatically Collected Information
When you use the App, we may automatically collect certain information including:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- Usage Analytics: App features used, crash reports, performance data (through third-party analytics if enabled)

Information Collected by Third Parties
Google AdMob (Advertising)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the App. AdMob may collect:

In-App Purchases
We offer a one-time premium purchase ("AutoVocab Pro") to remove advertisements. Purchase transactions are processed through:

We do NOT collect or store your payment information. All transactions are handled securely by Apple and Google.

Data Storage
Local Storage
All your vocabulary words, learning progress, and app settings are stored locally on your device using:
- SQLite database (word data)
- AsyncStorage (app preferences)
This data remains on your device and is NOT transmitted to our servers.
iCloud Sync (iOS - Optional)
If enabled, your vocabulary data may be synced to your personal iCloud account. This sync is:
- End-to-end encrypted by Apple
- Only accessible to you via your iCloud account
- Governed by Apple's iCloud Terms of Service

Data Deletion
To delete your data:
- App Data: Uninstall the AutoVocab app from your device
- iCloud Data (iOS): Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > AutoVocab > Delete Data
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Local database encryption
- Secure HTTPS connections for ads (when displayed)
- No server-side storage of personal data
- Regular security updates
However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Users
AutoVocab is available globally. Your data remains on your device regardless of your location. Ad services may transfer data internationally in accordance with their privacy policies.
